I bought two Bella alarms for me and my sister just before we travelled back to our province (after long time) ast July and it was so timely because since we got back to Manila, news about kidnappings and missing persons were everywhere. :( This makes me feel much safer and even just a little more at ease knowing I gave one to my younger sister because she'll be attending face-to-face classes soon and we won't be able to always pick her up or drop her off due to work. I almost used this once, just a few days ago I felt like I was being followed to my parking spot in a mall. Thank God nothing else happened after a family group got between me and the person I was sure was following me and I got to my car and also got home safe. I have just received my order yesterday. Delivery was on time, actually earlier than I expected. The delivery guy was very polite, too. The item works well. I am explaining to my friends that aside from this being a security tool, it can also be used in emergency cases, like when there's a need to be rescued and rescuers cannot find them. All in all, it's a veru useful tool. ♥

I feel secure when walking alone. Easy to dismantle to let it alarm (hoping i would never use it). The alarm is so loud and can distract attackers so you can run.

The colors are wonderful! The sound is loud (for all good reasons) and the strobe light is visible from afar. Super worth it!

Tried it once. Bought it for the kids in prep for f2f. I really love it.

I gave these to my nieces for Christmas. It seems really practical as they drive themselves and go out on their own (early 20s). Aesthetically, it might be nice if it either has a reflective strip or comes in brighter colors. If in panic mode or dark places it should be easy to spot/grab with the added bonus of looking like a cute accessory. Other than that this was such a good discovery and I’m so glad to have purchased it.

WARNING: Suuuuper long review! Got my order of Bella personal self-defense sirens from @wearebellaph today! They ran an awesome 12.12 BOGO promo so I got one for every member of my family and my female friends. I wish they came in other colors, but black is fine — it won’t look dirty even if I use it every day, everywhere I go, which is how I intend to use it. I chose this type of personal alarm device because when you’re in danger or need help, you just yank the main body away from the circular top to activate the crazy loud siren and the bright strobing LED light. There are SO many cheaper kinds out there but they all share the same problem: a unibody style with a small button you push to activate. If I were being attacked or pursued, I’d definitely have a hard time fumbling for a little button and by the time I activated it, it would very likely be too late. With the Bella, one quick firm pull will buy you time to run and get to safety, or call attention when you can’t do it yourself. To deactivate, you just push the top part (with the pin in it) into the body. No twiddly hunting for a teeny tiny button! My old one was like that and it got embarrassing to have it go off all the time because the button got pushed by keys or whatever. The Bella alarm comes with a carabiner clip so you can hang it from anywhere. Plus the batteries are easily available CR2032 watch batteries. I also got Bellas for my elderly dad, and my son who is a PWD, because if either of them has an emergency and I’m somewhere else in the house, what happens if I can’t hear them? What if they’re in trouble and I found out too late? That’s my greatest fear. Not everyone can afford smartwatches with fall detection paired with smartphones! Equipping my family members who both have special needs with Bellas gives them a way to call for help that will be heard from anywhere in the house. I really like the products. I ordered 6 of them so I can give them to my friends. Unfortunately, the instruction + the little card about it only have one copy each. I wish it were as many as the units so it's easier to give away. I don't mind not having individual boxes, but at least the instructions would have been great if it were as many as the units ordered. :)
